10 WAYS TO CREATE FRENCH TIPS MANICURES - GIVEAWAY WINNERS - HOW TO BASICS - NAIL ART
Then drag it towards the center tip of the nail.  Do the same on the other side, then one more stroke along the middle to create a slightly curved French tip. Another way to color the tips, is to do small vertical strokes like this. Line the brush to the start of your nail tips to fill them up. You can go over areas again to make the edge more smoother looking. The third way is to start your brush the same position as the first method, hold the brush in the same spot and roll your finger to create a smooth line across the tips. Whichever way you choose to do your tips, if you make a mistake or want to fix up any rough edges, just dip a flat brush in nail polish remover and use the corner of the brush to wipe away any unwanted areas to create the most perfect looking French tip manicure.

If you have a thin brush, like this one, that came with my Konad nail art pen, Apply 2 curved lines from both sides of the nail to section off the tip area. Line the corners of the nail then fill in the rest. This method is my favorite freehand technique to create French tips because it can create a deeper curve than the normal brush can without making a mess. As you have probably seen in many of my videos, I like to use the tip guides to create a quick and easy French tip. But I'm going to make it a bit more fancy this time just to show you the different ways you can use them. Place them on the nail and make sure the sides are well stuck down so the polish don't slip through. First apply the white base color then dab a few drops of a second color and use a thin brush to mix them together. You can swirl them around to create a marble pattern or go all in one direction and create a duo toned pattern. Once you’re happy with the result, peel the sticker off and there you have it, a fancy French tip. For those of you who do not have any tip guides handy, maybe you have some Band-Aid laying around. If you peel off the backings on either side, you can use the sticky part as a tip guide since it has a curved edge Again make sure the sides are stuck down securely This method is good for an emergency repair because I Wouldn't think it's very practical to use one for every nail which is why you can try using scotch tape instead place the side of the tape to section off the tip of the nail make sure the sides are well stuck down Apply your nail polish to the tip area and slowly peel of the tape to create a super straight French tip As an alternative you can also use the zigzag edged side to section the tip to create a crafty looking French tip I think it looks pretty cute and unique.  Let me know if it's something you might like to try.

Now to create a French manicure that's out of this world.  You can't go pass the stamping method First apply a base color to half of the nail then use a French tip plate like this M87 plate and apply special polish over the design Scrape off excess polish using the scraper then transfer the image using the stamper Check that the image is complete, then aim and roll it over the tip of the nail now soak a q tip in polish remover and wipe off the excess nail polish from below the tip print How cool is that Here is another fancy way of creating French tips using plastic bags Or the backing paper of stickers Apply a few colors of nail polish onto the surface then use the tip of a thin brush to mix the colors together Let it dry for a couple of hours or leave it over night to set When its dry, peel it off the paper like so, and use scissors to cut a curved shape like the tip guides Apply base coat over the nail and place this piece over the tip of the nail let it sit for about 10 seconds then bend the edges and file off the excess with a filer When it’s done it should look something like this You can always use the flat brush soaked in polish remover to clean around the cuticles or smooth out any lines to create the perfect French tip Wait we're not done yet, I promised you a bonus one so here it is Who says French tips has to be a solid shape.  If you have a nail art pen, or even just a toothpick you can dot in the tip instead just make sure you place the dots in the nail tip area use a few different colors to decorate.  And you'll end up with this cute and colorful retro French tip. When you’re done, don't forget to apply top coat for a long lasting manicure, more information see Meliney

FRENCH TIP MANICURE - BLACK & WHITE NAILS - Moonlight Cinema Nail Art Design Star Moon Movie

FRENCH TIP MANICURE - BLACK & WHITE NAILS - Moonlight Cinema Nail Art Design Star Moon Movie
As always, start with base coat and base color and let it completely dry before moving on.  This next step is completely optional but if you want to achieve super straight lines, you can give this method a try, instead of using the striper brush and adding them in freehand.  So we're going to use some striping tape and cut them into smaller sections.  Get a few strips ready before applying them onto the nail.  Using a finger to help hold down the tape, make any adjustments if needed and line them on the nail leaving even gaps in between.
youtube / Meliney

Then apply a black nail polish all over the nail and quickly peel the strips off to get the super straight line effect.  If the lines didn't come out as clean, you can go over with the base color to cover any spots.  Although your still using the striping brush, it’s a lot easier to fix up certain areas than creating super straight lines using only the striper. Next I'm just using the brush that came with the black nail polish to section off the tip of the nail with 3 curved bumps.  So Start small and build towards the shape that you want.  Then use a thin brush to line the curved tips. Now for the Open Curtain design.  I'm just going to use the striper brush.  Draw 2 curved lines towards the top of the nail and color in the tip.  Add 3 lines on either side to represent the curtains, then line the tip edge with a white striper brush.  Now use a dotting tool to add polka dots to the Special shaped French tip and do the same for the remaining nails Using the Moon and Star shaped Nail Stickers available at Meliney. com start placing them onto the nail.  If you put it in the center of the nail, it will look like it's the star of the show.  And if you don't want to get the stickers, you can totally drawing the star and moon shapes instead with a detail brush.  Once you’re done, Add top coat to secure the decals and presto. One stroke nail art tutorial: Black and white - BLACK AND WHITE NAIL ART DESIGNS

One stroke nail art tutorial: Black and white - BLACK AND WHITE NAIL ART DESIGNS
Hi, in this tutorial, I will show you how to make this one stroke black and white nail art the one that I am wearing right now. This is a nail art with 3 petals. I hope that you will like this type of flower and I let you watch the video. First I applied a grey color club base for this design I will use white and black acrylic paint and a one stock brush. This is a paintbrush that I fancy and I'll use only this one now.

You have its references in the description. I put 2/3 of the paintbrush in the white acrylic and the tip of the brush in the black acrylic. Then I draw the flowers by doing a small semi-circles, a higher semi-circle and once more a little one. And like that I'll make a petal in three semi-circles. I draw two flowers on each nail. It is important to make regular curves because I won’t' be able to draw the curves again with a detailed brush. I will leave it like that. It is important to lower the brush to make better highlights. Then I take white paint and color inside the flower where there is a little hole and some grey color.

I clean what has leaked out with a correction pen and then I take my detailed brush and I dilute the black acrylic paint to be able to make very thin lines. I make several lines inside to draw the stamen. Then I draw small lines on the side by lowering the paintbrush and releasing it and put a small dots with the dotting tool.

I add a silver line to make a glitter effect. Then I will apply a stud, which is a silver rhyme stone.

No Tool Nails Tutorial! 5 Nail Art Designs - Black & White Nail Art Designs

No Tool Nails Tutorial! 5 Nail Art Designs - Black & White Nail Art Designs
The first designing today's tutorial is the Ninja turtle. Start off with a green polish for the base. . . Well, I need to go in with white first because my green polish is not that pigmented. When your green background dries, draw a horizontal stripe across the upper part of the nail for the eyes disguise. You know the colors you should use right? Blue for Leonardo, Orange for Michelangelo, Purple for Donatello and red for Raphael. I went for Raphael so I selected dark red tone for the first coat and for the second, a brighter orange-y one.

I left the edges of the darker red peeking out for a slight 3D effect. Now only the eyes are missing. Make two white dots and then smaller black ones on top of them. When drawing eyes with a nail polish brush it is important that you wipe off the brush really well. Apply top coat to bring your design together. This manicure looks really cool if you change the color of the mask for different nails for all the four ninja turtle characters. Next is a lovely flower design. You can choose any color for the base; I applied two layers of minty green. Draw 3 petals with a wider side of the nail polish brush in the corner of the nail like this. Make 3 lines, one vertical one horizontal and one diagonal. I applied2 coats of white to get sharp and opaque petals. Now take another color, I went for a hot pink and draw 3 smaller petals on top of the white ones. Turn the brush for 90 degrees to use the narrow side of the brush. This way the petals will automatically be smaller. The flower looks so pretty if you chose two very different, contrasting colors. Finally, make large dot in the very corner of the nail. Seal your design with a fast drying top coat. I think this flower design is so adorable! I painted all nails on my other hand with-it and look how pretty it turned out. Besides, it didn't take more than 10 minutes and it looks just fabulous don't you think?! Next is an adorable and super easy penguin design. You need black, white and yellow nail polish for this one. Start by painting the entire nail in black. I applied two layers to get that really sharp and opaque payoff. Make a wide white stripe along the center of your nail for his belly. For the head drawn oval stripe like this to extend the black a bit. Then make two white dots for the eyes and two smaller black dots on top of them. See how easy it is to make precise details with a nail polish brush. But as I said earlier, you need to wipe-off the brush off really well otherwise you can mess up your design. Or just use a toothpick to make your life even easier! Here I just made a tiny stripe of white and I am going over it with yellow for penguin's beak. Look how cute he is! And so simple to make! Apply a generous amount of the fast drying top coat for the beautiful shine. A generous amount of top coat will prevent the bristles from touching the polish and this way the black color won't smear onto the white. Also try to move as fast as possible when applying it. How flipping adorable is our penguin right?

Ok, this design you guys, it must be my favorite of all the five! It is a design of a balloon and since we'll achieve it using a special technique, it will look like you have a sticker on your nail, but you actually won't. I’m first applying a white base and then a green polish on top for the background. Look how bright this green polish looks on top of the white! Apply a thick layer of green so that it will take more time to dry. See how I'm adding the green here. Now we have to work quickly! Don't wait for the green polish to dry, just go straight for the three different colors of your choice and make 3 dots for the balloons. It helps if you have your three polishes open and ready. See how cool effect this wet polish technique gives you! Now it’s time to draw a small stripe to each of the balloons -- you know the part where you tie balloon so that the air doesn't escape. At the end draw a curved white stripe to the side of each balloon for a highlight to add that little something to your design. For these tiny stripes wipe the polish really, really well until you're left only with a hint of a polish on your brush. The balloons now look so cartoonist and cute. Apply a fast drying top coat to bring it together and protect your work of art. See how adorable this manicure looks?! Use this nail art as an accent nail on your ring finger or paint all your nails with it. I like that the technique is a bit different which makes the design very unique. The last design in this tutorial is a spooky ghost. Well, not that spooky. . . I find him quite cute actually. Create some darkness by applying two layers of black. Once the black dries, go in with your white polish. Draw a white stripe or oval shape in the center of the nail. Then turn the brush and draw smaller stripes out the main shape with the narrow side of the brush. Apply a second coat to get it all opaque and to perfect the shape of our cute little ghost. Nail Art in Black and White! Monochrome Nails

Nail Art in Black and White! Monochrome Nails
She makes DIY, beauty videos and amazing nail art tutorials. I love how they are always so creative, easy to make and they always turn out fantastic. So we decided to join our nail art forces and create mix and match nails. I came up with this all black and white design, while she created a gorgeous colorful one. Make sure to watch her tutorial.

It will be linked at the end of this video and in the description box. But first, let me show you how to achieve this monochromatic creation, so go grab your black and white polish and let's dive in. My black and white polish are ready but let’s put them on a side for a minute because we have to prime our nails with a base coat first. This way we block the nasty staining and keep our nails pretty and healthy. Alright, now our nails are prepped and ready for some color. Paint your thumb and pointer black. I have to apply two coats for an opaque result. Then paint your middle, ring and pinky finger in white. At this point your nails should look like this.
Quite a funny manicure! But don't worry because we are just getting started! Time to take out your artistic skills and make some designs! On the ring finger we are making a beautiful flower design. Dip your medium sized dotting tool in black polish and make five dots close together like that to represent the petals. Make several of these flower shapes all over your nail. Some can be bigger, some smaller because there are all sorts of flowers out there. I still need some smaller dots to make the design fuller. Leave the polish dry and then proceed with the white. Make smaller white flower shapes on top of the bigger black ones. This way you will keep that black flower silhouette, which I think looks so stunning. And it seems like the design was so difficult to make when it’s in fact so easy! To complete the design make black dots in the center of each flower. I think this design is so pretty even as an accent nail to a solid manicure. On my right hand I made this design on my thumb and I just switched the colors - so I have white flowers on black background and I absolutely love it! On the pinky we are making the easy and always cute polka dots design. Make a row of dots along the center of the nail and then add two rows by the sides. You can go for bigger or smaller dots, I went for a medium sized ones. If you don't have a dotting tool youkan use a q-tip or a toothpick to make this classic but lovely design. So far we made two black designs on the white background. But, on the middle finger, will making a yin yang which represents balance and will connect all of the black and white designs into a story. Here's how to make a perfect yin yang sign in an easy way! I like to mark three dots along the center of the nail.

Now just connect these dots making an "S" shape using a striper, precise brush or even a toothpick. It doesn't have to be flawless right away, you can always go in later and perfect it. Then color one half in black. Yin Yang represents how opposite forces are actually interdependent and give rise to each other. All we have to do now is make a black dot on the white half and white dot on the black half of the nail. Help! Moving to our black background designs. On the pointer we're drawing white triangles all over the nail. I am using my precise brush, which I got in a craft store for very cheap. And you guys know that I love it for nail art. The triangle lines don't have to be perfect and opaque yet – we are just making a draft first! Now we can go over all the lines again making them bolder and neater. I love this design! The white triangles look so cool on the dark background, don't you think? This design itself could work great on all the nails or as an accent on a ring finger for example. On the thumb let's make some classic and classy vertical stripes. I am not very good with a striper. That's why I decided to use a tape,

which makes perfect stripe designs super easy to achieve. Stick parallel tape pieces along the nail, apply white polish and peel away the tape. Here I am using a nail art tape, but you can make your own DIY nail art tape using usual scotch tape and scissors in minute! My white polish was getting quite thick and gloopy so I had to mix in a few drops of nail polish thinner. Voila! The perfect stripes in no time! Oops I did it again! No problem because the precise brush takes care of such small errors in a sec. And here is our last design all done! I made the same designs on my right hand but I made horizontal stripes on the ring finger and flowers on the thumb. Finally we have to apply a top coat to seal all the designs, add some shine and protection. A matte top coat would look gorgeous on these nails too, but unfortunately I couldn't find it in any local store! That is it for my monochrome mix and match nail art. Youtube

WATER MARBLE Nail Art Tutorial - Black & White Design How to Basics Techniques

WATER MARBLE Nail Art Tutorial - Black & White Design How to Basics Techniques
Then a layer or 2 of a white nail polish I’m using this glass candle holder with a 5cm diameter opening it’s not too big so hopefully I won't have to use too much nail polish to fill it you can also use any round shaped containers or cups whatever you can find around the house then I filled it with tap water and let it sit for about thirty minutes or so until it becomes room temperature you don’t want the water to be too cold because it dries up the nail polish quicker So I’ve got my 2 colors ready.
 Youtube/Meliney

It’s just a simple 2 color design. have them open so you can access them quickly starting with the black polished one drop and wait for that to spread then continue with a drop of the white polish and repeat steps until you get few rings of each Colori recommend not dripping it from too high otherwise it will sink to the bottom of the cupid hear other people say to use filtered water just use the tap because the water here in Australia is pretty clean and it definitely works for me something to note about the type of nail polish to use did a couple of polish tests to make sure the colors spread properly some nail polishes don't work very well either it doesn't spread or it doesn't allow other polishes to spread on top of them so test it out and see which ones work for you so once you have this bulls eye ring in front of you looks kind of hypnotizing doesn't ingrate a stick with a pointy end I’m using an orange stick here and start anchoring the outer rings like this you do this so that when you drag the designs later on it doesn’t move around I think missing this step was why my last water marble attempt failed so miserably now that we have our spied web set setup we can start dragging the rings together. There are lots of ways to create designs with water marble this is probably the easiest way so if you want to see me do more water marble designs let me know in the comments and any suggestions for color combinations that you may have so now that I have created a few petal shapes

I’m just going to turn the glass around to a position that is the easiest for me to dip my finger in then aim where you want your design to be and lower your fingernail into the water hold your finger in the water and scoop away the remaining polishes from the water surface once the coast is clear you can take your finger out and there you go looks like a bit of a mess but you can easily clean that up with some nail polish remover you can always tape around the fingers to prevent them from getting on your skin too much on now that I have shown you the basics let’s try another one and I’ll show you how to do them 2 at a time to save you some nail polish so

before you start dripping again make sure the water surface is clean of any polish residues now once you have everything set up use your orange stick and drag 3 lines across the rings to create 4 big petal shapes like this then drag 2 more lines in-between the first 2 petals to make them into smaller ones you can dip the orange stick to combine the petals to make a point now that we have done the first design do the same on the other side to create the second one once you got your 2 designs ready dip one of your fingers in the first design than make sure the surrounding polishes have broken off slowly take that finger out without disturbing the rest of the design next dip your second finger in the second design hold it there and scoop away the remaining polish and take your finger outseen killing 2 birds with 1 stone or something like that after you clean off the surrounding nail polish from your fingers this is how it looks but knowing me I like to go the extra step so I added some dots in to make the marble even more interesting to look at add some black dots in the white area and white dots in the black area then once you’re done add top coat for a lasting finish.
